Thank You Brother

by Maddyxxx   Jan 8, 2008

For never really being around
As we grew up
You Grew farther away
You fell deeper into your past
The cuffs that bound you
Of your awful ways
It's eating you up more & more

Soon you'll be standing on your own
Feeling so empty if you haven't felt that already
While you where on the run
Did you ever stop to think of your baby sister?

If today I had the nerve
I'd spill my guts to you
To tell you
No matter what you did to me
No matter how hard you pretended not to know me
I still love you
But the more I spill out these lines on paper
I remember the way you made me feel

As empty as that beer can
As helpless as that homeless man
As broke as that vase on the shelf

I guess in some ways I hate you
Guess I never really mattered to you

Aw That's really sad, I could feel everything you wrote. Good Job!
