Forever Rain

by Paige Lea   Jan 8, 2008

I still remember that day
Outside, it was pouring rain
There was nothing they could say
That could take away our pain

Tears poured down my face
As I watched you walk away
The rain started to race
I could feel your heart break

It hurts to watch you walk away
There's no describing how I break
To know that tears have touched your face
I'll be in forever rain

Your heart was always in mine
So when yours broke, it sharpened my cries
I wish to go back in time
So, today, I can look in your eyes

Now when I watch the rain fall
I think of you and what I've done
I wish I could take away it all
And bring back out the shining sun

It hurts to watch you walk away
There's no describing how I break
To know that tears have touched your face
I'll be in forever rain
