Lunchbox Surprise

My mother packed me all the things
I like to eat for lunch,
A peanut butter sandwich
And some pretzels I can munch,

A little box of raisins
And a little box of juice,
And for dessert my favorite treat,
A cup of chocolate mousse.

I sat in class, my stomach roared,
It echoed loud and far,
'Cause I remembered I had left
My lunch box in the car!
