Something New

Glancing up at the stars
Reminiscing about the past
Beginning to release, emotional scars
As I am noticing times moving to fast
I have many hard to obtain dreams
I've had enough of the painful screams
Life reminding me of the roughly driven streams
Needing support, needing my cast

You hold me in place
Not lettings me fall part
You may not realize but you're my brace
And have been from the very start
Picking me up after each fall
As I am laying broken like a porcelain doll
Not letting me build up any walls
Piercing my heart with one of cupids darts

I lose myself in unwanted space
I was tripping over my own two feet
You helped me slowly tie the laces
Before I surrendered in defeat
No longer fearing who I became
My outlook on life no longer the same
I feel I have finally won some demonic game
As I am excited about each obstacle I now greet

You have created an image of love
Standing beside me adding the perfection
Seriously you have to be an angel from above
All too quickly you became a perfect obsession
Illuminating my darkness with your light
Making me laugh with each silly fight
Finally things in my world seem so right
Thank you for helping me head in the right direction
