Black and Blue

by Rebecca   Jan 10, 2008

Inside I am black and blue
All inside without a clue
But no one knew.

Not easily undone
Never any fun
Hate is all in a ton.

Come with me
And you'll see
What it's like to be me.

Pain is all around
No love to be found
Buried into the ground.

Bruises and cuts on my skin
So spectacularly binned
No love, no family, no kin.

Lacerations, violations and scars
Comfort and tranquility are far
Shielded behind a black bar.

Come find me, all alone here
Shedding all, but a single tear
Trying to conceal that cold fear.
