I would have given you everything ,
because I honestly did love you.
I told my partner feelings for another I do have ,
and now I am left doubting if anything you said was true.

You told me you loved me ,
and that you wanted us to be together.
You told me you never wanted to let me go ,
that you were going to be there forever.

Whenever you could you would come around ,
at work you took all your breaks with me.
I believed everything you said ,
and now a fool for that I feel I will always be.

I have been nothing but honest with you ,
for you I would have given up my life.
But since I told my partner about my feelings for you ,
it's like you've disappeared leaving me to live with all this strife.

The stupid thing is and this why I feel like a fool ,
is that I miss you and still am very much in love with you.
Why did you say all those things if you never meant them ? ,
do you have any idea what you have put me through ?.
