Where was this person (not finished)

I know there is another you, someone your boys don't see,
i know there is another you because time and time he comes to see me....
But where was that person when the other you left me all alone???
where was the other you when the other never wanted to answer his phone...

Theres a monster in the other you something this person lacks,
the other you makes me confused, and in a heart beat he can turn his back.....
i be wondering where is this person that tells me sweet things,
where is this person that keeps my smile showing, and can make my heart sing????????

alot of times I just wish this person would out shine the other you,
because the other you say and do alot of hurtful things this person wouldn't do.....
i believe the worst part about you in general is that you don't know what you put me through and how all of this makes me feel,
each side of you just lets things go and believes in time i will eventually heal.
