Comfortably bad

by Iola   Jan 12, 2008

You just don't know, like me
You prefer to watch things out
Waiting, watching, what will you see
If you just stop the silence and shout

You wonder, hoping, just like me
You're scared of this foolish journey
Pondering, thinking, under a tree
If you can just tell your heart it can soar free

You dream of things that numb, like me
You hope it will take away your choice
Slurping, burping, laughing at what you feel
If you can just go to sleep without hearing my voice

You play and scheme, but not as much as me
You run around the truth like mad
Talking, walking, swimming in my sea
Maybe it's easier to stay comfortably bad
