I Feel So Stupid

I feel so stupid
i trusted in him
and let my guard down
inside of me
ending up
where i knew id be.
i hoped he was different
not listening to my heart
when it told me
he was the same as the rest
i didn't want him to be
for he seemed perfect to me
he had the idea
then he didn't respond
and now he has destroyed
that growing bond
i cant believe i trusted him
i feel so stupid
for i let myself
be blinded by love
