An Absence of Obstacles

by ALEX   Jan 13, 2008

What are we but liars,
If there's 'ought to block our way?
If nothing stands between us,
Should we be bothered, then, to stay?
Black and blue, the ink pours out;
The words form, sad and true.
I'm wishing for a speck of doubt
To keep me out of love with you.
