The vampire and his lover

by maxapug   Jan 14, 2008

In a garden I stand
Filled with red roses withering
Looking at the pond
In it I see the reflection of the moon

The full moon I see
Is as old as I can be
Ageless as it seems
Alone it stands
Just like me

I live a life of misery
For I live with a curse
Without anyone to empathize
Or keep me company

I long to see my reflection
Approaching the pond
Looking in the water
Neither man nor animal appeared

She was the one I loved
As she looked into my eyes
Reserved I was
Avoiding any harm done upon her
Hateful I am for i killed her

People like me should never learn to love
For we hunger with thirst
Thirst for love and company
Feeding on blood was never tasty
