Writ With It's John Handcock

by Alex D   Jan 16, 2008

I tried to fall asleep but its not over
The seconds go by ever slower
Id give anything to start over
But the seconds tick by even slower
A way around this pain I refuse to discern
People keep calling on me with their concerns
But their concerns fall upon deaf ears
My cheeks still damp with wandering tears
Crying out to fall backwards into the past
Reverse the seconds rather than making them last
But the seconds fall off ever slower
Lost in a fight, making me edgier
As the will to live carves its name in to solid rock
Or perhaps it's a tombstone writ with It's john hancock
Losing all hope, My soul passes through
As I reach out to the silhouette of you
