Fog on the water. (You belong to me)

by InterviewWithTheKat   Jan 16, 2008

Look into my eyes.
Turn your gaze away,
From the garish light of day,
Place your gentle touch upon my palm.
Put your trust in my guidance.

I will take you to a place,
Where my fantasies I chase.
Yet within the darkness,
We can love still, and more.
Leave your passing life behind.

Let the fog upon the water,
That holds a thousand secrets
Flow about your skin like liquid silver.
Let my voice caress your soul,
Let it rest upon your heart.

The darkness banishes defenses,
And awakens several senses.
Throw your memories away,
And be inspired by the night.
Push your spirit to the surface.

Let this midnight swallowed heaven,
Be your home forever more.
Allow the face that is not mine
To be covered with a mask,
For my soul is more in music than in skin.

Allow my love to find you.
Please let my voice encase you.
Permit my arms to embrace you.
Hear my greatest plea,
And know that you belong to me.

You can never leave.

Forever you will stay.

You belong to me.

This has a deeper meaning that is a little more amorous. ;)
