Forming Water Colors

by CHOKE   Jan 16, 2008

As the tear drops fall
The hate grows
Forming water colors
Of the unknown

As the tear drops fall
The fear spreads
Forming water colors
Of the dead

As the tear drops fall
The smiles fade
Forming water colors
Of the daze

As the tear drops fall
The reflection hides
Forming water colors
Of the left behind

As the tear drops fall
The heart breaks
Forming water colors
Of all the hate

As the tear drops fall
The world disappears
Forming water colors
Of the once held dear...

Your poets heart unfurls itself willingly and lends its words to us to float and drift among our own words. Good work, I enjoyed your poem and look forward to more.

This is so unique. I've never read something like this. Truly powerful poem, filled with emotions expressed on interesting and original way. Effective from the beginning to the end. The repetition is quite effective, too.
    My favorite stanza is;

    -As the tear drops fall
    The smiles fade
    Forming water colors
    Of the daze-
    ^^
    Greatly expressed...

    Excellently done!

This is my favorite stanza because for some odd reason it held a certain meaning to me.

    The poem was very original.
It was a great way to look at a tear drop if you ask me. 5/5
