A Rose.

A rose is known for its beauty;
the sweet aroma it gives.
and depending on the care,
will determine how long it may live.

a rose is not so different from a person,
if you compare.
each petal holds a different story,
and growth relies on care.

and when a rose is forgotten,
it becomes limp before your eyes.
and in a person their spirit,
slowly begins to die.

so if a rose is known for its beauty,
the sweet aroma that it gives.
will you be there to care;
help it blossom and live?
