Maybe some other guy

As i lay down on my bed
I thought of something that should make me red

I don't know about what you said
But I'm telling you it's your smile thats spinning inside my head

I tried to get close
But found out that you already have a rose
For someone whom you already chose

I tried to ignore this feeling
But it seems like i just can't stop falling
And I'm scared that one day, I'll just end up crying

So I've stopped for awhile and thought about all this
Love is not something that can be controlled

And now that all is bright
It's clear to me that this isn't right
I should get you out of my mind
Because i know that you'll never be mine

All that's left for me to do
Is end this poem and find a clue
But how could i, if there's no you?

Oh well, I'll just try to turn my head and look the other way
Maybe there's someone else who's willing to stay
He who'd stop by and say,
"I'll write the last line with you, in any day."
