Two Children

by haunted   Jan 20, 2008

She heard giggling and feet thumping.
And she couldn't help but smile,
When she saw in her vision
There was Two Children.

No parents with them,
And their smiles were like valuable gems.
They looked about the age of twelve,
Oh, how their laughter was like little elves!

She still saw the Two Children
In her vision,
Playing and Laughing,
Hugging and Tumbling.
She could easily see the love in the girl's eyes,
As she did in the boy's.
She cringed at the thought of the children
Not dying by each other's side.

But one day,
The boy got into a car accident.
He and the girl were 24.
The boy was driving
While drunk,
And the girl had no clue.

While driving, the girl was not keeping an eye
On the road,
But instead on her cell phone.
And she didn't see the red light,
And she hit a car.
The car turned out to be the boy's car.
The one the girl once loved so much she would die for him.

He was sent to the hospital,
And she waited.
And waited ...
And waited ...
And waited ...
And finally,
The girl was allowed to see the boy.

The girl cried and cried.
And the boy's words to her were,
"Everything was a lie ...".
And he shut his eyes,
Leaving the girl to cry there alone and cold.

The girl that saw this in her vision knew the feeling to fall for someone so much,
You'd do anything just to be in their arms.
She knew what it was like to have your heart shattered.
She knew that
Love could go deeper than the ocean.
She knew all this for
The two children was her and the boy she loved so much.
