I'm dieing can't you see?

by Maddyxxx   Jan 20, 2008

Every morning I wake
Standing in front of that forbidden mirror
"Mirror mirror on the wall
Who's the deadest of them all?"

I look to see my skin changing a different color
My eyes are sinking deeper into my skull
Sages of fat under my eyes
My face falling bit by bit

By scars,
A soft touch pulls back skin
Showing of the flesh underneath
Blood begins to drip and drain
Letting it go down the sink thats before me

Tears begin to fall
Leaving stains upon my face
Makeup smears
Exposing more of whats underneath

I try to fix it
I try to heal it
I try to be strong
But the more I try the more
I'm standing staring into this forbidden mirror
asking repeatedly "mirror mirror on the wall who's the deadest of them all?"

And the mirror responds "she who stands in front of the forbidden mirror is the deadest of them all"
