Sonata Serinade 1-29-01 (Song)

by Phil Laws   Jan 20, 2008

You are the stars unmade
Rest within an autumn glade
Water's allure to wade
Nature's ways with danger stayed
You are twilight's crusade
Still shining past the sun's fade
Like a kinetic raid
Cleanse me as the rains tirade

Cure my thunder, horizon lurker
Be the wonder of my days
Seek the end of these delays
I won't resolve to build my ways
On this titter of rays
So light my sight, shadow splitter
Hold the night as you have me
Separate and selfishly
Your astral hands have kept me free
That our future may be

You are stubbornness swayed
Childhood fancies on parade
Muses wish what you persuade
One day you've lived is worth that trade
You are God's love conveyed
Liberation from a raid
A soft quilts warmth and shade
And the best ballad unplayed

So light my sight, shadow splitter
Hold the night as you have me
Separate and selfishly
Your astral hands have kept me free
That our future may be
Cure my thunder, horizon lurker
Be the wonder of my days
Seek the end of these delays
I won't resolve to build my ways
On this titter of rays

You are the debts you've paid
Feel of ease from vital aid
My whole focus relayed
Love of the life you pervade
You are the love of the life you pervade...
