If through to the end
I was to decide this thing
You'd be my best friend
To care for my ring
But you've so much to find
So you just can't see
I'll have patience on my mind
Until you take your claim on me
Be my lover; Wild or mild
Yet keep friendship above
Be my mother - Be my child
To teach and learn by love
Through the hills and valleys
All these ups and downs
Never taking tallies
All our smiles and frowns
Famine or feast
Cries of joy and pain
Beauty or beast
Winds with sun or rain
Finding comfort and peace
For and with each other
May the helping never cease
Sometimes child, sometimes mother
If the friendship should increase
And we're found with one another
Share the comfort - Love compiled
Revolving in a ring
Never to hurt you my child
Without hurt returning
Swim the waters, climb the hills
Learning the land with me
And the thought stirs, causing chills
Teach the world it can be
Friendship abound - Without strife
With love like a mother
Learn to be found living life
