Minx or Muse 5-26-06 (Song)

by Phil Laws   Jan 20, 2008

Just to the left of my anguish
Another smile sidles up to my pride
And as it leaves me feeling selfish
I've an idea it's time to decide

Well I don't know
What purpose I should follow
My needs won't slow
Though desires stall and wallow
While I go
One missing piece can leave me hollow
Shallow
With swollen consequence to swallow

Which way should I choose
The minx or the muse
If those types would just fuse
I might never bemuse and lose
When something pulls at my spirit
Another option always draws my eye
I feel connection coming near it
But thirst from search and shuffle runs me dry

Well I don't know
What purpose I should follow
My needs won't slow
Though desires stall and wallow
While I go
One missing piece can leave me hollow
Shallow
With swollen consequence to swallow

Which way should I choose
The minx or the muse
If those types would just fuse
I might never bemuse and lose
In either voice of my debate
I can hear the fortunes harmonizing
We could be rich in how we relate
Or agonize over analyzing

Well I don't know what purpose I should follow (Minx or muse)
My needs won't slow though desires stall and wallow (Time to choose)
While I go one missing piece can leave me hollow (Minx or muse)
Shallow with swollen consequence to swallow (Time to choose)
