Temptation.

by Brittany   Jan 21, 2008

Temptation does not need words,
Maybe it doesn't even need gestures,
My mind races with mere thoughts,
Memories lay forgotten as I'm...

Tempted.

Temptation forgets all pasts,
It looks beyond any futures,
All it sees is the beauty of one single silouette,
Standing deceptively flawless.

It likes to tug on heart strings,
To hear that sad sweet old love song,
Playing hopelessly as if the record will never stop spinning,
Temptation likes to hand out dreams to the broken.

It likes to give the grounded wings,
To watch them try and fly away,
Jumping with air rushing beneath them,
Temptation likes to flirt with impossibility.

Temptation lives visciously,
It takes without thinking,
Loves freely without second thought,
Sometimes even without first,
and it hurts.

Temptation has good intentions,
Maybe not all the time,
But it tries to fake your smile,
Just remember that sometimes temptation is...

Tempted.

This is a magnificent piece of work. There is a message hidden in it that is amazing. The only thing that i see that may be wrong with is is the punctuation. I mean the flow is great but the commas make you pause in some places that you shouldn't. All together though it is wonderful. 5/5
