Exiting the Roller-Coaster 7-5-04

by Phil Laws   Jan 21, 2008

I am dizzy for awhile
And even more confused when I realize
I'm standing higher at the exit
Than I was when I got on
Only respecting myself less
In that unbalanced moment
When I couldn't remember
That the view from the highs
Did more for my joy
Than the fear in the lows
Could distract from excitement
Though I need to improve my balance
If I'm ever to be so swept up again
So that I may truly enjoy the experience
Without fearing how it may end

Phil the title is one that dream me in because love can be like a rollercoaster ride can't it, ups and downs but when the downs last longer and take longer to go back up er have to think if it's worth carrying on.

I love how you go through the motions of the dizziness of the first part of the relationship to the fear of if it's worth fighting for to wanting to find love again.

All in all great write Em
