R.I.P Landon

Your laughter was contageous,
a warm happy feeling swept through my body when i was in your presence.
your eyes shimmered as the light reflected off of them
as they told of better days
your hands were crafted for drawing,
the hands that you held me with.
while your personality remained laid back
calm, cool, and collected is how you were.

but when the news was told,
all was crashing.
your laughter was silent.
your eyes were dull as if to ask the question "why?"
your hands became cold and frail/
and your personality was paralyzed.
i sometimes regret that on my birthday,
the day of your death,
that i didn't realize how much i loved you.
until you were too far out of my reach.

I love this poem! I know you probably hear it enough, but I'm sorry por your loss. It hurts even more to hold stuff like that in, it eats at your heart and your mind. I am sending you my heart!

WOW...This is so good. I'm very sorry for your loss. Sometimes we never say the things we want to say...then it's too late...My heart goes out to you....
