No To Worry.

by Molly Elizabeth   Jan 21, 2008

Don’t do this to me,
This has to be a dream.
Because in all reality,
You’d never turn around and leave.

Slam the door behind you,
And drive the car away…
I know when I wake up
It’ll be just another day.

Another day, waking up beside you
Our legs tangled up,
Holding each other close
Whispering, baby, I love you… I love you so much!

Tell me that it’s over,
Say you made a mistake being mine
Tell me that I’m not enough,
Nothing but a waste of your time.

Remind me that I’m so stupid,
That I’m just not the one.
Because the one that loves you…
Wouldn’t give it up for a meaningless night of fun.

Because I know this is just a crazy dream,
I know we’ll be ok.
I know when I wake up tomorrow,
It will all just be the same.

I know I’ll hear I love you,
I know I’ll feel your touch.
Not to worry darling,
Because I know that this is love.

I must agree with NightmareChild on which stanza was my favorite. You have a magnificent talent in using simple words to make a complex poem. Truely you are a good poet. 5/5
