Daddy

by Skye   Jan 21, 2008

Daddy,
You never told me that love could hurt so much,
Daddy,
You never told me that not all boys had a nice touch,
Daddy,
You don't know how much I've grown up,
Daddy,
You don't know all the things I've done,
Daddy,
I never told you where that dark bruise came from,
Daddy,
I never told you how many pills it takes to make me numb.
Daddy,
You don't know how sad I used to be,
Daddy,
You don't know how much these pills really help me.
Daddy,
You never told me that you be there if I called,
Daddy,
You never told me that I would crash if I fall.
Daddy,
I never told you how much I have given up,
Daddy,
I never told you what the alcohol really does.
Daddy,
I cant tell you how far I have fallen,
Daddy,
I cant tell you why I'm not calling.
