Broken Angel

by BrokenHunni   Jan 22, 2008

This sad broken angel, her face wet with tears,
Her heart broken down, a victim of the years
Her sad little lover, now far away and gone,
Never stops to think how her life went on.

This sad broken angel, no longer flaps her wings
Just listens to the others, the happy as they sing,
The sad broken angel, she lifts her head to wonder
All she gets is echoes, lightning and the thunder.

This sad broken angel, her life she led in vain
Waiting for her sad little lover, to come back to her again,
The sad little lover, now with another star
His heart blanked out with years of practice, he doesnt scar.

Don't weep little angel, one day you will be fine,
You'll find the one who looks at you with wonder and tells you 'Be mine'.
