The good friend

by Miranda   Jan 23, 2008

Do you see that girl?
The one with the big smile?
The one who laughs so much?

She is such a good friend.
Always listening to problems,
offering advice, trying to get a laugh.
Hating to see her friends in pain.
Everyone sees her as the healer.

But do they know her?
Really understand her?
Do they know she cries?
but only into her pillow.
Do they know when her smile
is fake or when its real?
Do they know her head screams
and her heart bleeds?

She tries so hard.
She really does want her friends happy.
But what about when shes depressed?
It seems that they are all sad
at the exact same time.

What if she complained
and told her sad tales
and her friends became more sad?
She would blame herself,
even if it had nothing to do with her.

She wants to explain to them
but it comes as an insult.

Now do you see the girl?
The one that laughs and smiles
to hide her inner pain?
The one that has a major problem
explaining her depression?

I didn't think so.

Omfg! Rado this is amazing, quite the improvement hun. your very talented.

And just a side note. I will always put my problems aside when you are in need. Don't feel sad or blame yourself. I hate to see you hurt, worst of all hiding it. I will wait with open arms, and listen with uninterupted ears.
You can lean on me and I will support you dear. It's what best friend are for:)

Keep it up, very well done.
    5/5 --Elly.
