Loosing yourself.

by Lorenzo Arteaga   Jan 24, 2008

His left eye began to twitch, hands became steadily colder as he balled them into fists. It seemed as though everyone in the room were all bickering with him, screaming at him, for no particular reason. Why are they doing this? he thought angrily,What have I done to invoke this kind of torture upon myself. All he ever wanted to do was fit in, and by doing so he lost touch with who he really was.

Loosing yourself in everyone else can be a lot easier than most people would have you believe. If you put on a show for everyone your whole life you can easily become so involved in what everyones perception of you is that you yourself are unsure who you really are.
