Weeping Willow

by 0BrokenBella0   Jan 25, 2008

Weeping Willow, don't shed your tears,
For I have something to calm your fears.
You can't let life pass you by,
Because you get older as you cry.

Your branches were the first he climbed.
As he watched the river wind.
And when we sat in your shade,
His life was unknowingly slipping away.

We never told him that we love him so.
Weeping Willow, don't cry. It was his time to go.
I know that he wanted to stay,
But the angels came and took him away.

No matter what, he'll never leave,
Unless we forget all his deeds.
Weeping Willow, why do you cry?
You're letting life pass you by.
