Time

Time, I hate to coin the cliche, but It's fleeting.
People say that time flies when you're having
fun well that's not true, Time flies away
from you even when you're not. Time seems
to leave behind a wake of "what ifs" and a
desire for more of It. I find myself plagued with terrifying questions what if i never find the One
i'm meant to be with? What if i never find my
true purpose? What if i die before i get to see
the truth behind the lies of man and through the veil of so called reality? As i suffer from
these thoughts Time seems to purposely and
quickly flee from me! It's as if It speeds up
when i want so bad for It to slow down! I want
more of it! What if i die without any of my
questions either answered or realized?? Oh my
God it's not fair! It's not right! What have i
done to piss Time off?? I just realized something,
as i have been writing all this -Time has escaped me
and everything is going dark. I SCREAM with all
the desperation that i can muster

    Hey Saul not sure if this is supposed to be like this but your poem end with "I NEED MORE T and that's it no closing quotations and no IME. Thought I would check and see what is with that. I like this one alot there are many people out there who find that time is of the essence and that it seems to slip away. Even at sixteen I find that time passes in the blink of an eye and my biggest fear personally is that I will end up alone so this poem characterizes peoples lives and worries very well. Great work.
