Picture Frame of you & I

by Victoria   Jan 29, 2008

This picture frame sitting next to me
It's empty, as I removed the picture of you and I
You were once my sister that I never had.
Friendship of almost 14yrs gone down the drain
We shared everything, there for awhile.
Life struck me, and I had to move away with my own family
It seems ever since that day, the day I moved away, we've grown apart
You blame it all on me.
I wasn't good enough for you.
I wasn't there for you
I wasn't this, or I wasn't that.
I can't be perfect, but yet you expected me to be it seems.
What happened? What changed?
We made a promise, the day I moved away, NOTHING would change.
And yet here I am, staring at an empty picture frame, cause there is no more of you and me.
