Dead inside (about a little girl)

"Sweet dreams baby"her daddy said as he kissed her on her head
and those were the last words she ever heard, right before she went to bed
she woke up the next morning and had an awful thought
so she ran downstairs took the phone and tried hard not to get caught

she let the phone ring about 5 times and finally went to go look for her mom

"mommy where is daddy, how come he didnt answer his phone"
"sit down baby" her mom said, and right then she began to feel alone
"daddy was in a bad accident and he isnt coming back, he is in heaven"
then a few weeks later her mom killed herself and went to go live with her uncle kevin

This little girl now 11 years old, was sad and miserable inside
she kept away from the world,stayed her room,and all she did was cry
days went by and then months too, her heart had a big hole, and she was blue
so her uncle kevin gave up and said, " hey baby girl,your going to live with a family, all new"

so now all she felt was alone, and on top of that unloved
her new parents came for her, out the door she was shoved
they welcomed her in their home with smiles and laughter too
if only the little girl new, that more bad would come,and there would be nothing she could do

her new mommy seemed real nice she worked all day and came home at nights
but her new daddy was mean and aggressive and always started a fight

one night mommy left and daddy was very drunk, so he grabbed her and covered her with a cape
he threw her down the stairs, and that is where he took adavantage, there she was raped

now all alone this little girl was so sad so she ran away
hoping she would never see them, and little did she no she wouldnt even wake up the next day

later that night she ran down a busy street and didnt even look the other way
the car came really fast, "god why do you hate me" was the last thing she could say"

no one really knows what the little girl felt like, all lonely and abused inside
all she felt was sadnessss, and after a while, the little girl inside of her died.
