I Know What Love Is!

by Taylor   Jan 30, 2008

I'm sick of people telling me, just because of my age
I'm younger than everyone by not even a year
They say these things that send me into rage
And they tell me I'm a baby because I let go of a tear

"You're too young to understand things, Taylor, I'm sorry-"
"I'M NOT TOO YOUNG! I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU KNOW!"
"But you're still a year younger, though don't worry,
When you get older, you'll find out, so-"
"No, I'm not listening, just because of a year, it doesn't work out!"
"Taylor, calm down, you'll understand when it occurs."
"I'm fine by my age, I know what I know, and I'll still shout!"
"Age does matter, and you'll realize when everything blurs."
"So what are you trying to tell me?!"
"That you do not know what love is, you've never been through it."
"I'M IN LOVE RIGHT NOW! WITH MY BOYFRIEND! HE MAKES ME FEEL FREE!"
"Please calm down, stop having a hissy fit."

As you can see, I get treated like I'm 5, everywhere
Even my friends try to tell me I don't know what they do
I know what's right and wrong, but they, of course, don't care
And they sure do not know what I'm going through
