Sorrow

by Allie   Jan 31, 2008

This empty room cries,
the shadows cower in the corners.
The silence screams at me,
leaving trails of emotion on my cheeks.
Without you near,
I cannot fully live.
Remembering your voice,
hearing your pain,
did I do all that
in just one day?
The stars twinkle,
the moon always smiles,
but do they know real pain?
Holding your picture tighter,
the tears start falling faster.
Air feels like water in my lungs,
am I suppose to breathe that in?
Falling into despair,
nothing seems to matter
but you and me.
No time to give up,
the clock is still ticking,
everything is just too much!
The water is rising,
it's getting harder to breathe,
without it getting into my lungs.
Sinking into the ocean,
my last breath escapes me.
With it, I say
I love you
