Falling Down

by Kenny   Feb 1, 2008

Wake up! Dawn is near, heart is racing full of fear. What the hell is this? The screams in my ear, I drop to my knee, eyes full of tears. My limbs are shaking, the end seems near.

Open my eye's look around, the screams I'm hearing no where to be found. Can't shake this feeling, I'm falling down.

Can someone save me, do they care? Alone and lost full of despair. Bitter, spiteful rage flows free. Bewildered I wonder, can this be me?

Confused and helpless cheated of life. Coiled and venomous, ready to strike. What happened to the screams? No where to be found. Oh my God, I'm falling down!

Betrayed be me you faithful one. No one with more beauty under the sun. How much did I need you, suffocating I think. You were the water from which I would drink. Deceived by the one you trusted and loved. The moments we cherished are useless and done.

The words of my dove no where to be found. I'm sorry my love, I've fallen down!

To start from here, becoming clear. Just climb to one knee no need to cheer. Begin to stand, feeling the fear, whats this? New life is near! Optimistic and eager, I take my first step. This ones not easy but I must disconnect. Heartbroken and lonely, can't yet see through the fog. Apprehensive, I start to jog.

The pain and the sorrow now under my feet. Spirited maybe, but the taste not yet sweet. Still can't believe that I'm on my feet!

The moon and the stars will always be there. Your unprovoked fury is my cross to bear. You meant more to me then me to myself. From that entanglement came our living hell. With hopes of forgiveness for all broken hearts. Ashamed of my actions, even with a new start.

Believe me when I tell you this for it comes from my heart

Our love may be tarnished, all rusty and brown, but from this day forward...

I'm NOT Falling Down!!!
