My Online Love

by Allie   Feb 1, 2008

The computer screen holds your voice,
its hard drive holds those precious words.
Its screen is cold,
while your words are sweet and caring.
Logging back on,
your user name glows green.
My stomach flutters,
my hearts skips a beat.
We go through our usual hellos,
asking about unknown answers.
Planning our future,
one IM at a time,
when can we finally
meet offline?
But for now,
we'll just say good-bye,
until we bring
tomorrow's news.
