Your Entertainment Station Is Taking Me Away

by Soulful Ensemble   Feb 2, 2008

Will your box ever love you?
You better hope it will.
You're gonna lose me, too
After, my heart, you kill.

Smile at your box with all its buttons,
I'm sure its got tons;
To entertain you better than me
As I fall down the dying tree.

Enjoy the entertainment station
Very far from here.
I know its where you're stationed
Laughing at my tears.

Sit there holding your little box
It makes you happy while my heart it blocks.
I'm being stoned to death with rocks
While you look away like a fox.

Hunt all the game you want
While I sit around and wait.
You, my ghost will haunt
When I die without my mate.

My mate you are,
And what a mate indeed.
You see the stars,
I sit while my heart bleeds.

Entertainment station has got you on your butt
And im standing up demanding for your call.
You get up from your seat and my door you shut
Right on my face, and who really thought you'd stall.

I think I'll lay on the floor out here
Looking at the walls.
While you stare at your box, my dear
Making me feel small.

I'm tired and exasperated
I can't stand it anymore.
Sitting, watching-- I waited!
And you never opened the door.

So I peak underneath the floor
Trying to see your feet.
Will my heart ever soar?
Or will it be beat?

I can't say I care anymore,
That's why I wrote this.
I'm ready to live on the floor,
Forgetting what bliss is.

I'm tired of your entertainment station
Its taking me far away.
I can't be long in this other nation
Just so you can have your way.
