I often see you in the shadows
of my dark and lonely dreams
but when i see your face i dream of many other things
i dream of myself staring into your eyes
i dream of us together on dark and stormy nights
i dream of kissing your lips
i dream of holding your hand
i dream of saying i love you
and you'll always be my man
i dream of you touching my face
i dream of you kissing my cheek
and swearing you'll never leave
i dream of us being together
together forever as one
i dream of us being together
until both our lives are done
