Cliff

You walk toward the end,
As you think of the jump
You swallow one last time
To get rid of the lump

Your time has come,
It is finally here
They call out your name,
Over the edge, you peer

"O come on!", "Just do it!",
They all seem to reply
"Will you walk the talk,
or was it all a big lie?"

Your joints now tremble,
just inches from the ledge
your fears pour over,
as you stand at the edge

"Don't sell yourself short",
Thats what they all say
So you swallow your pride,
Just turn and walk away
