The truth

Reading through the lines of a fairy-tale
Seeing how prince charming fought and prayed
For his princess to be safe
Now I wonder where did they go
All those who wondered about love and thought
That life will always be fair
Those who await for their fairy-tale to come true
With every breath, every step that comes through
Their lives ahead never knowing when to stop
For that thing they call love and the clock tick-tock
As we walk through the darkness of the emptiness we are in
I see my prince walking through ice that is thin
Falling with every word below
Trying to step up but never gets through
For all I know is love is a mystery
It's when you feel sad and misery
It's when you feel lucky and happy
It's when you feel confused but rationally
It's when you are passionate and crazy about someone
For that person holds the true meaning of your heart
Sees right through you not look at you
Feels you are fair even though you are sick
Feels awesome that you are beside and breathe on your neck
Not to annoy but to feel close to you
Now I ask you
Have you ever been in love before?
Have you ever felt that love is more
Than a legend that keeps us through the lonely nights
And the hollow days when it all get tight
Or is it that we are lonely hearts and empty souls
Looking for an easy way to feel alright
We think and love with our heads no more with our hearts
For the heart had brought us sorrow and lots of fights
As for living
It’s just another day that passes by
With those who are scared get stepped on
And those who are not gain it all

Thanks for taking the time to explain. I see now that my misunderstanding is (and I mean no offence) more down to your use of grammar. You are right that there are too many people living in denial and equally there are millions too weak of will and short of confidence to step up to the plate and stop love passing them by.

I wanted to talk about those who are scared to take risks of falling in love they get passed by as if they are invisible you know as if no one notices them anymore because they are scared of just exposing themselves to love since it could cause heartache, but those who do take a step forward and take the risk they get something always even if it was just pain, at least they are feeling something not living in denial.

I don't understand these lines at all. But I do like the fairytale analogy you've used, even though I think you steered away from that theme too soon. Still, I get the feeling you really put your heart into this piece, and it was not disappointing.
