Alteration

Close your eyes and tell me
Do you see what I see?
Do you feel what I feel?
Or is it just me
Am I the solo partner for this heart of mine or is there somebody there to share my life
Am I the only who see what its like to be lonesome
And feel the scars of solitary
Pain knows no bounds
And that's all what I believe in now
This world has turned into a wound that cannot heal
Everything changed
Even the wind that used to speak of peace
Beauty has sundered to mortality
And so did love with all its passion and craze
I feel the faith in my spirit
But my desire is lost with my broken soul
Who has been blinded for so long
And now awakened to perceive the reality of this vicious world
Cries and tears and screams of sorrow and grief
Lost and bewildered
Wandering around in the fractured streets
What happened to that gentle silent whisper of peace?
War has taken everything tranquil in this life
Even the innocence of a child
Who weeps out of ache and hurt
Next to his father's corps
Power isn't in murdering
But in finding the strength to carry on among the ruins of your shattered home
Our world had gone through an alteration
And all what we have is our faith deep in our cores
And prayers of hope that our world would wake up someday from this vast nightmare
