Hey, I'm Emily. I created this account when I was just 12 years old, and submitted most of my poems then. After not having looked at this website for over 2 years now, I decided it was time I come back and visit a little. I read through my old poems, realized how much better they could be now that I'm older, and decided to only keep one of my old ones up. "Letting You Go" is my personal favorite. It was written when I was only 12, but reading back on it made me tear up. I think it was my best poem so far.

Other than that, I think I'm a pretty average person. I play hockey (okay, not so normal), I get good grades, I get along with a lot of people, and I'm a good person to confide it. Unfortunately, there's a lot more to me than that. My heart has been broken too many times, my family isn't the most steady, and the close group of friends I have is involved in some serious issues. Life as I know it has been hell lately. Depression has filled my mind and my heart is still mending its wounds. I'd love to meet some people like me, or at least some people tat can partially understand. If you're interested, contact me somehow. I'm always up for a new friend or two.
