Wake me from my nightmarish dream...

Hear & follow my ongoing cries,
Once you leave, part of me dies...

Time after time, day after day,
Her body is frail by the window she lays...

I escaped my agony, ran from grace,
I hid so much in my empty face...

I know this is long, but if you read it, I think...
Head bent low against the wind...

Hidden truths & open lies,
Harsh forgiveness & alibis...

They meet at the battlefields
An asphalt sea with divots and cracks...

When you cry out loud from sorrowful days,
There I'll be, forever & always...
