Left alone in this empty world
This girl wishes her life weren't real...

This girl has gone through emotional battles,

Before we met, I believed love wasn't real
My broken heart proved it was a false way to feel...

Who knew that words could be so powerful?
So full of meaning and able to tear one apart...

All she wanted was a special day at last
To let go of the dark memories from the past...

It's only the first day without you
And I can't stand a day without you around...

Your hand holding mine; your lips on my cheek
This feeling of love- too complex to speak...

Some friends can be extremely deceiving
And some can even lie...

This girl was left an emotional wreck,
With her heart permanently scarred...

I thought I found someone at last,
But the outcome is the same as the past...
