I'm 21 and I'm from Texas. I usually write stories so writing a poem was a completely different experience. In both cases for me, the words flew onto the paper like it was nothing but poetry is much more personal. With stories I just use my imagination but the only time I can write a really good poem is when it comes from a real place.
