When I was somewhat lost and confused,
I travelled, trying to find my feet...
We will pass each other on the street,
And we will dip our heads...
What a life for you to have
What a life to live and lead...
Don't you try to understand me
For you cannot and never will...
You try to close the coffin
But the thing inside wants out...
I stand there on the doorstep watching the light...
My toxic smoke rises away on currents, it thins...
I feel a little saddened!
And my eyes desire to bleed...
No fur in which to bury my ugly face,
Brother lost to me though of a different race...
Why is that the things I write
start with a simple thought...
When you were no more than a thought,
You were simply just than an egg...
When you have known true fear,
When you have felt true pain...
Monsters come in all shapes and sizes,
So many faces, So many guises...
