Why cant i cry
i feel the sadness welling up inside...

The cold wind swims around me
It wraps me in a frigid blanket...

Where are you all going
You leave me in the rain...

The white moon will rise
Stealing all light...

I stare out the window
Mesmerized by the fall...

These feelings happen all at once
Like the seasons of the year...

The dark clouds gather in the sky
Ready to shed their tears...

Some just lay down and die
The hope is gone from each soul...

The sun sets upon my wretched life
And the moon rises in its place...

Silence rings in my ear
Nothing has happened of late...

My salty tears slip down
They mix with the pouring rain...

Trapped in my mind
There's no way out...
