Recreationally or more it's your life, Your Choice, Other people(Who dont know You) Shouldn't have a say. Thats not to say if you have a problem this is an excuse i just believe a general law should not exist or be enforced. Unless under certain Situations (e.i Minors, And kids) Should be Sold and made by a trusted member of soicety. Such as ciggerates and Mcdonalds.

and i do mean all drugs. From Caffiene to Speed. even heroin. Your body. your life. But you should be smart about it. And the people who are gonna do the harder drugs are going to anyways No matter the Conquences. We Should have Classes in school teaching the actual Reprecussion of Drug use and abuse. and not as bais. Like erowid. Inform them of the risk. and let them choose. we're a so called free country so let it be. One the most harmful and deadly of drugs is already legal. We need a radical change soon.

Postive things have come from drugs. Mostly in the art World but not just rescirted. Some ideas can only be reached by expermentation. And most importantly Free the marijuana Plant once and For all

And always remember as this group does. What might be right for you may not be right for some. We all have a life to live. so lets live it to our fullest and not punish people for being curious most of them end up punished by their own ignorant actions that our society creates. Alot of kids wouldn't do hard drugs if they didn't buy pot off the dealer who sells more than that. Thats the problem with probabation. The underground creates a dealdy aspect to it. bring it in to the light and Make it safer.

If you want to experment with drugs and you want to know facts about it. Here's a website to check out before you do.

Have fun but Remember to Be safe and Be informed
    Love Monks

    P.S.
When doing drugs have a spotter. Always. Period. Be smart

The problem is not necessarily the drug, though I believe many drugs are more dangerous than others. It seems that the problem is that from a purely natural point most human colonies are less organized than an ant colony. We are more closely linked to primates, thus monkey see monkey do is easily observed. Any unhealthy condition of the mind or body is a disease. Many people including myself get the disease of addiction and wind up hating the victim even when they are a victim. Many times you will see me defending the human dignity of persons such as Ira Hayes and Michael Jackson's Man in the Mirror so to speak but I STILL HATE THE DISEASE

Children many times forgive thier parents for focusing more on a substance than spending time with them.

If drugs become an issue as they often do the most powerful healing is in the forgiveness F.T. W. FORGIVE THE WORLD

I don't see how a person puts into their own body, be it a drug, or anything else...a knife or someone elses body part, to be rather blunt for a second, is anyone else's business, least of all the Governments.

However, like a few other members stated if a person acts in a way that has a negative effect on those around them because of they drugs they take, like Bob said, most notably with Alchoholics, then yes there needs to be controls in place for that.

Which is why we have public decency laws.

In the privacy of your own home, without harming anyone else you should be able to do whatever you like, but we all know this isn't the case.

Gay people can be arrested for having sex in their own home in some parts of America.

    That is just scary.

Personaly i agree that drugs should be legal as if people want to do them they arent really hard to find at all even though they are illegal. personaly i have done nearly evry major drug around except for crystal meth and im not addicted to anything but nicotine. and i will tell you this that of all the drugs ive tried from heroine to crack to lsd and of them all the only drug i have ever beeing arrested for. the only drug that has ever made me violent or do somethings i have really regretted, is alcohol. alcohol changes your personality more than any other hard drug out there. yet it is legal

Nice post rocky, the voice of experience.

I've done a few things, mostly social drugs like E and speed, nothing too heavy and yeah, nothing is so socially damaging as Alcohol, except heroin, but with one being totally legal, and in fact socially encouraged and one being exactly the opposite...well, makes you wonder.

I was talking to a protestor last weekend, he lives in a treehouse he made on a planned motorway route and he and some friends have been living there to try and stop the council building the road. The local community got behind them too, feeding them etc.

    Anyhoo, they had a big party in the woods nearby and a bunch of us went down to see them. This guy, his name was Grievous, lol...he was offered a drink of some heavy whiskey and he said no. A girl asked him why and he shot her a really hard stare and said;

"cause I need to be sharp man, all the time..cause the government man, it wants you pissed up and drugged up, legal or illegal drugs, don't matter..they want to distracted man...with drugs and TV and fake news cause if you are messed up with those things you aren't paying attention to the murder job they're doing on everything this planet has to offer"

I'm paraphrasing of course, but that was the jist of it. I shook his hand and we talked about Documentaries we'd seen.

Heroine is only socially damaging if you become addicted to it. i have taken it recreationally every now and again for about eight years now and my experience is that it only makes me feel calmer and a bit tired. and yeah damn itchy if i take to much. it dosnt make me want to start fights or shout abuse at poeple. it doesnt impair my judgement much or make me reckless and uncairing. it dosnt make me unable to remember what happened the night before. these are all things that alcohol does to me. the only major problem is it is very easy for certain people to become addicted to it and it is supposed to be very hard to get off of. my view is that drugs are fine when enjoyed responsibly, but people with weak or addictive personalities, or who are only trying to run from there problems , have no right to ever take any drug at all. it WILL mess up there lives even more. but then in the same way if you know you have a weak heart you shouldnt go skydiving. drugs are never the real problem but a convenient scapegoat, people are the problem. you wouldnt blame a gun for someone being shot, no you blame the person who shot them

''The problem I have with drugs is the fact that you make stupid decisions while on them that can certainly influence others around you. Around my area, there is a huge meth problem, and copper and scrap metal gets stolen to take in for money. These people are still not nearly as motivated to hold down a job and therefore still would not have the money to purchase the drugs.''

If drugs were readily available they'd be cheaper leading to less crime and more cooper for you!

And please do not ever say legalize drugs, that means the state gets their dirty hands involved I'm fine with decriminalization.

The words you have quoted above have made me think about something. i will bet anyone here anything , that alot more people have made stupid decisions and hurt people around them while completly sober. so does that mean she should illegalize sobriety
