The seasons are changing. Our friends with the hemisphere that has southern inclinations are just starting to button up their sweaters, bring out their autumn boots, and develop cravings for apple cider. In the north, our members are finishing final essays, watching flowers bloom, and letting the hems of their trousers creep higher and higher up the leg. It's time for fresh starts, new hobbies, and adventurous endeavors. With all this distraction, all this flowing transient life, I still have one question:

Rabea, people have held site wide contests, where generally it's a few rounds, a couple judges, eliminations, intensity, the norm in a contest. I'll try to find a contest so you can see what we mean :)

Usually the site contests have lasted 1 month with 4 rounds each lasting a week and there are several anonymous judges who vote and comment (judges revealed at the end of the contest if they wish it). The number of members is thinned down until the last round... at which point a winner surfaces. Someone needs to host the contest and come up with creative ideas for each round. It's a bit of effort, but a lot of fun for everyone.

Weeeeellllllll, I MIGHT be able to do one for July. :] I am not exactly sure yet but I think I will have enough time to prepare and then be available. :]

I don't think I will be able to do it. :/ I am about to go to camp and then afterwards I might get a job so I'm not sure how much time I would have. So, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to do it. Hope someone else can though! :]

LOL it was just keeping everything super organized to ensure I didn't mess up anyone's votes or guesses, and then figuring out who got what right, who got what points and who got extra points for staying hidden. It wasn't easy.

Yes, I can imagine so..but on this side it looked as if you did it with ease. I would love if you did this again somewhere in the future, it was fun!

I definitely can't. My boss is about to go on maternity leave and I'm running the office alone. I won't have any time to really dedicate to holding a contest.

Maybe we should take a break for a week and start up again in November. Unless someone wants to do one now, in which case, I sure wouldn't say no ; )

I think Michael D should give one a go, at some point. Or I bet Princess would run a wicked contest, if there's a time when she's not studying!
